But the latest techniques, monitoring, and medications, can help your pet to experience a more comfortable and rapid recovery
Experience counts! Our DVM has 30 years of experience, performing these more advanced surgeries with great care, yet our surgical team makes every effort to act together during the procedure in an effort to greatly improve your pet's surgical experience and recovery. Our proficiency in advanced procedures allows us to send many of our patients home with their owners the following day--allowing for a more comfortable and emotionally positive recovery experience.
- Isoflurane inhalant anesthesia rapidly induces analgesia and anesthesia, but is also eliminated from the body very quickly upon recovery.
- Sevoflurane is offered as the latest top of the line anesthetic and greatly reduces anesthetic risk in pediatric, geriatric, avians, sighthounds, or other at-risk patients.

- Radiosurgery is also available: The benefits of laser surgery, but far more economical! Radiosurgery is an alternative to traditional surgery that reduces morbidity rates, offers a lower risk of complications, and improves quality of life during the healing process.
- Surgical patients require a trained support staff: our veterinary technician has received extensive training in surgical nursing, dental prophylaxis, and anesthesiology in an AVMA accredited veterinary technology program in addition to her 5 years of on the job training and experience. Our assisting staff have graduated from assistantship programs and/or are pursing education through regular in-services and online coursework.
